Do you travel a lot? Do you want an international diploma? Do you want your level of French to be recognized worldwide? Consider taking the DELF.
The DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) is an official qualification awarded by the French Ministry of Education, to certify the competencies of a candidate (from outside France) in the French language.
The DELF diplomas are given the same recognition as all official diplomas/degrees issued by the French Ministry of National Education and have lifelong validity.
DELF is composed of 6 independent diplomas that correspond to the levels stated by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, in use at the AF in Charlotte and at many Alliance Française locations around the world.
This exam is required of foreign nationals enrolling in French Universities. Candidates can register for the examination of their choice, according to their level. Each examination evaluates the four communication competencies : reading, listening, writing and speaking.
Use our placement test Evalang. The test evaluates deux competencies: reading and listening. It will give you a fair indication of your current level.
Alliance Française de Charlotte will offer in 2023 four DELF diplomas: A1, A2,B1, and B2 for the DELF junior for students between 12 and 20 years old and two DELF diplomas for general public or students over 17 years old.
